“Staying Grounded: Mike Maranan on Humility and True Success

Michael V. Maranan is a man of diverse pursuits — a social and serial entrepreneur, life coach, success mentor, logistics expert, organic farmer, and the founder of My Superhero Friends Foundation Inc.

Rest easy tonight and let go of those worries — trust that God is handling everything for you.
Despite wearing many hats, he remains a capable and focused business leader.
I still remember him sharing a valuable lesson over a meal inside a Japanese restaurant that in the past, he tried to do everything by himself, which often led to setbacks. It was only when he began seeking guidance from the Divine, the Lord Jesus Christ, that he felt a higher force directing his steps, aligning his goals with a greater purpose.

Over the past few days,I haven’t been feeling like myself. But in those moments of struggle, God reminded me, ‘I am always with you, my Son.’ Just like a sunset symbolizes the end of a day — whether it was good or bad — each sunset brings the promise of a new dawn. Every day is a chance to start fresh. God is good, always!- Michael V. Maranan
Michael’s journey began humbly on a farm at the young age of eight. Today, he owns several successful businesses in the country, including a logistics company, a real estate firm, and established investments and resorts.

His days are often filled with meetings, mentoring sessions, and strategic planning at his office near Molito Alabang.

Despite his demanding schedule, Michael proudly shares how he sets aside special days to cook for his wife and children, also finding time to bond with childhood friends to look back when he was still dreaming about everything that he has achieved now — a true testament that success is not only measured by achievements but by meaningful relationships.

As a member of the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines and a distinguished alumnus of the Lyceum of the Philippines, Michael strives to remain relatable and forward-thinking.
Known among his peers as a man of action — the one who never gives up — he is fondly called “Kuya Mike” or “Brother Mike.” He actively engages in various communities and organizations, from agri-tourism groups and civic organizations to biking clubs and customs broker federations across the Philippines, the United States, Australia, Dubai, China, Spain, Canada, and beyond.

Despite his impressive list of achievements, Michael stays true to his core values as a leader, innovator, health and wellness advocate, and above all, a man of simplicity. He often finds solace away from the city’s hustle and bustle by visiting his organic farm in Taal, Batangas.
