1. The art of
beatbox is good for the health
According to a study released by the University of Illinois Dr. H.
Steven Sims, beatboxing appears to be beneficial for the vocal cords.
Keeping the glottis open means that beatboxing may actually be
protective of the vocal folds, singers rely mostly on the vocal cords in order
to produce sounds.
So all the energy involved in singing is concentrated on these
structures, which can develop scar with overuse.

Beatboxers, on the other hand, are able to avoid such damage
because they also use the pharyngeal muscles to create sounds, which takes
stress off of the vocal cord.
Indeed, Dr. Sims says it
might be possible for singers to borrow some beatboxing techniques, similarly
elongating their vocal tract before they hit high notes.
2. Beatboxing is a legit craft
There is a science behind beatboxing, the art of beatbox is
considered as something complex, a beatboxer can uncover many details.
There are some beatboxers that can cover 17 distinct sounds in
five instrumental classes like the kick drums, Rim Shots, snare drums, hit hats
as well as cymbals.
Each vocal percussion sound in the beatboxer’s repertoire
involved rapid and precise coordination of different parts of the tongue, lips
and vocal cords.
The study demonstrated that, like in many human languages,
not all sounds were generated by the lungs.
There is craft and specialization when it comes to it, which means
the simple ability of being able to produce sounds and focus on it is
brilliance in itself.

3. Beatboxing can make a person become a better musician:
If you want to become a
better singer or musician then beatboxing is the right thing for you.
Beatboxing is one technique
that could be used in order to become an effective singer and even as a
composer.
Beatboxing is a capella
styel of music making via vocal percussion.
Beatboxing will teach a
person to have a greater sense of timing and rhytm.
It also improves listening skills and can
actually work to protect a person’s vocal cord.
4. Beatboxing can help increase your creativity level.
When practicing Beatboxing
you increase your aural skills and improvising skills.
Beatboxing is not something
you can learn from a musical score sheet.
You need to be able to
learn how to listen and repeat in copy cat style, while training the
mind to be able to listen and repeat in copy cat style.
There is a need to train
your mind in order to get used to the way the sounds can work together, the
main goal is to improvise using the sounds so that you will no longer need to
use an actual instrument just to produce the sound.
Your mouth becomes the
automatic source of music.
Children who are exposed at
Beatbox lessons can learn when they try their hand at beatboxing.
5. Better sense of rhythm
and timing
People who learn the art of
beatbox have a better sense of rhythm and timing.
By doing a different set of
rhythm they are able to create a logical sequence of beats, in order
to be able to pull this off musicians need to have musical timing and this is
what beatbox is all about.
With beatboxing a person
can learn to create complicated time signatures leading to becoming a better
musician in the long run.
